We hope that guests will
experience the “A WOMB” time and space, where you simply
float and get fed without anything to worry about...
just like when you were in your mother's WOMB. The cavernous
modern concrete structure houses a long table, which
is a 7 meter piece of wood, and has a view
of the silent garden covered in moss from the windows…
every element experienced gives us a sense of slowed
time and an unusual atmosphere − a world apart from the
ordinary.
We serve a Japanese menu, which mainly consists of sushi
as well as a wide variety of Kyoto-Vegetables. The highlight
of our dinner menu is the Sushi-Kaiseki course, which
we highly recommend especially for guests visiting from
overseas. We serve a 5000yen course, a 7000yen course,
and a 10000yen course for dinner (a reservation is required
for the 10000yen course). The price of our lunch courses
range from 1800yen to 3800yen. We also have an a la carte
menu and a drinks menu with sake, beer, and wine… We
hope that you will enjoy the Japanese cuisine at A WOMB!
On the 2nd floor “awomb studio”, we sell specially selected
products and fashion that we hope you will enjoy. We
hope you can find something special for yourself.Exhibitions & various
events are also held occasionally.
